ImAlive – an online crisis/suicide service for those unable to use the phone
Centrepoint – help for those aged 16-24
Shelter – English advice on all kinds of Homeless situations but click for directions to the Scottish page. Also includes a great deposit protection checker which can trace if your deposit has been protected.
Railwaychildren – for homeless children under 16
Homeless Link – UK advice
Citizens advice – find your local advice centre
Private Rented Sector – this is where you can see if there are any local schemes set up to help you access Private Housing – such as deposit schemes.
Crisis – a great place for advice if you are single and homeless.
The Big Issue – Information on becoming a vendor and a great source of advice.
Law Centres Network – Great website for finding local legal advice. They specialise in helping people who cannot afford legal fees.
